SPLIT, July 25 (Hina) - The central headquarters for the protection of Croatia's 1990s war of independence from the ex-Yugoslavia issued a statement on Wednesday saying those who had given too much blood, lives, health, sweat and
tears for Croatia would not let a small group of foreign hirelings destroy Croatia's future. The statement says the authorities must nor threaten war veterans with repression, ignore the will of 400,000 citizens, extradite generals to the Hague war-crimes tribunal, and break Croatia into pieces. The headquarters claims it is willing to endure every attack, repression, threat and insult coming from the authorities and the media as it is certain of "final victory." The statement maintains many in the incumbent authorities did not want Croatia or take part in its creation, and that despite force, money, the media and world mentors they do not have the Croatian people. SPLIT, July 25 (Hina) - The central headquarters for the protection
of Croatia's 1990s war of independence from the ex-Yugoslavia
issued a statement on Wednesday saying those who had given too much
blood, lives, health, sweat and tears for Croatia would not let a
small group of foreign hirelings destroy Croatia's future.
The statement says the authorities must nor threaten war veterans
with repression, ignore the will of 400,000 citizens, extradite
generals to the Hague war-crimes tribunal, and break Croatia into
pieces.
The headquarters claims it is willing to endure every attack,
repression, threat and insult coming from the authorities and the
media as it is certain of "final victory."
The statement maintains many in the incumbent authorities did not
want Croatia or take part in its creation, and that despite force,
money, the media and world mentors they do not have the Croatian
people.
According to headquarters president Mirko Condic, what the
authorities are doing is treason of national interests. "The
Croatian people that gave them confidence at the elections has been
deceived," the statement said.
A Croatian general, Rahim Ademi, earlier today surrendered to the
UN war crimes tribunal at The Hague.
