ZAGREB, July 13 (Hina) - Croatia's Government strongly denies the news broadcast by a Belgrade radio B92 which quoted a senior official of the former HDZ government as saying that the two sealed indictments, recently served by the UN
war crimes tribunal (ICTY) to Zagreb, contain names of five Croatian citizens. Earlier this week the incumbent Croatian Prime Minister Ivica Racan said his Cabinet had received the two sealed indictments with the names of two indictees, the Government said. The government regards the latest allegations as politically dangerous insinuations made by the HDZ. In addition, those are irresponsible statements of unnamed HDZ senior officials used for manipulation over the Croatian public. The purpose of such statements is to disturb the Croatian public and therefore they do serious damage to the political interests of the Republic of Croatia, the Ivica Racan Cabinet said.(hin
