ZAGREB/BRUSSELS, July 10 (Hina) - European Union High Representative for foreign policy and security Javier Solana on Tuesday hailed a Croatian government "courageous" decision to fully cooperate with the International Criminal
Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY). "I have been in contact with Croatian Prime Minister Ivica Racan this morning to tell him of my great appreciation for the courageous decision of the Croatian Government regarding the cooperation with the ICTY. I am fully conscious of the extremely difficult context in which this decision was taken, but there is no a shadow of doubt that it is the right one," Solana said in a statement issued in Brussels. "It represents a very constructive step towards Europe and the respect of European values. Croatia has already made impressive progress on its road towards Europe.
