BELGRADE, July 3 (Hina) - Yugoslav President Vojislav Kostunica
will appoint a new Yugoslav government, probably at the start of
next week, said representatives of Montenegrin coalition 'Together
for Yugoslavia', who on Tuesday held consultations with Kostnica in
Belgrade.
The new Yugoslav government will include the current partner from
Montenegro (Socialist People's Party (SNP), and another two
parties from that republic - People's Party (NP) and the Serb
People's Party (SNS). Prime Minister-designate is likely to be a
member of the SNP.
Those were conclusions from today's consultations between
Kostunica and the said parties. SNP and SNS have seats in the
federal assembly, while only the NP is without a representative in
the parliament.
These parties asked Kostunica to draw up a new agreement with the
Serbian ruling coalition DOS (DOS and 'Together For Yugoslavia' are
the ruling coalition at the federal level), and they also insist on
re-defining the relations between Serbia and Montenegro which make
up the current Federal Republic of Yugoslavia (FRY).
The new prime minister-designate is likely to be Predrag Bulatovic,
the president of the SNP, after an SNP member, Zoran Zizic, the
previous Yugoslav Premier, tendered resignation over his
disagreement with Slobodan Milosevic's transfer to the ICTY in The
Hague.
