ZAGREB, June 28 (Hina) - At Thursday's session, the Croatian government forwarded a bill on the confirmation of a free trade agreement with Bosnia-Herzegovina to the Croatian parliament. The agreement, which should increase the two
countries' trade, was signed in December last year and went into force on January 1, 2001. Bosnia-Herzegovina is a significant trade and economic partner to Croatia. Trade between the two countries last year amounted to US$577 million. Croatia's export amounted to US$495 million and import from Bosnia amounted to US$82 million. Also forwarded to the parliament today were two loan agreements of European financial institutions for the financing of small and medium entrepreneurship.
