PULA, KILLING ONE PULA, June 23 (Hina) - One person was killed and another seriously injured in a strong explosion which rocked the flat of a Romany family in the northern Adriatic city of Pula at 02.40 hours on Saturday. The blast
claimed the life of 59-year-old Ramadan Gusani. His wife, 58-year-old Marija, suffered serious injuries. Several other persons were in the flat at the time of the explosion, including eight children who were sleeping. An on-the-spot investigation is over. The county police has taken all measures to find the culprits. According to eyewitnesses, an unidentified person from the street threw a bomb into the Gusani flat. The president of the Istria County Romany association, Husein Veli, said he was worried and that the Romany no longer felt safe in Istria either. He urged city authorities to protect the Romany.
