BELGRADE BELGRADE, June 12 (Hina) - Interior Ministers of Croatia, Yugoslavia and the two entities of Bosnia-Herzegovina, including the Bosnian border service director, held talks in Belgrade today about cooperation in the struggle
against organised crime. The Yugoslav Information Ministry said in a statement the officials agreed on the holding of the first session of the regional working group of experts to draw up a strategy of the joint fight against organised crime. The session will be held in Zagreb on June 25, they agreed. The meeting in Belgrade was also attended by deputy UN Mission chief in Bosnia-Herzegovina, Robert Gradwell. about cooperation in the struggle against organised crime.
The Yugoslav Information Ministry said in a statement the officials
agreed on the holding of the first session of the regional working
group of experts to draw up a strategy of the joint fight against
organised crime.

The meeting in Belgrade was also attended by deputy UN Mission chief
in Bosnia-Herzegovina, Robert Gradwell. The Yugoslav delegation

The ministers described the meeting as successful and stressed the
fight against all forms of organised crime in the region was a step
forward towards joining an integrated Europe.
Today's meeting was also an opportunity for talks among ministry
commissioners of countries, signatories of the arrangement on a
joint implementation of laws in the fight against illegal migration
and organised crime, signed in Sarajevo on May 14 at the initiative
of the UN Mission to Bosnia-Herzegovina.
Gradwell relayed to the participants the congratulations of UN
Secretary-General Kofi Annan for the progress achieved in joint
cooperation.
The UN Mission chief in Bosnia, Jacques Klein will thus comment on
the positive steps on June 15, during his address before the UN
Security Council, the ministry statement read.
