SLUNJ SLUNJ, June 7 (Hina) - Slunj police yesterday confiscated 61 packages with 60.62 kilograms of marijuana. Karlovac Police Commissioner Zvonimir Vnucec said this is the biggest amount of narcotics confiscated in Croatia this year.
The drugs were found in the trunk of a "VW Golf" which ran off the Plitvice road and hit a family house. The young driver got out of the car, got in a BMW and drove off towards Karlovac, police reported. Head of the crimes department Tihomir Biscan could not give out more information in the interests of the investigation, but said police was on the criminals' trail. Both vehicles in question had Bosnian license plates.(hina) lml
