persons, Ivan Grujic, said 1,483 Homeland Defence War victims are still being sought for. So far, 128 mass graves have been located containing 3,235 bodies, of which 2,605 have been identified thanks to forensic experts. The conference in Opatija is being held under the organisation of the Zagreb Faculty of Medicine's Forensic Institute. State Attorney Radovan Ortynski pointed out the importance of forensic science in finding evidence in criminal proceedings, and facts without which, he said, neither the victim not the perpetrator would not be identified.(hina) lml sb
