ZAGREB ZAGREB, May 17 (Hina) - The Sixth Croatian Financial and the First Croatian E-business forums ended in Zagreb Thursday. The forums were organised by the Infoinvest company. Nine conferences were held in the past three days,
dealing with issues such as the situation in Croatian entrepreneurship, amendments to the foreign exchange law, stimulation of foreign investments, pension reforms, direct banking, the e-community, client relations management and new business models. Some 40 presentations, seminars and other events were also held, at which most of the 80 exhibitors presented themselves, including banks, insurance and broker companies, media companies, information companies, etc. The traditional award for a joint stock company with the best position on the Croatian capital market, the Golden Share, was awarded to Zagrebacka Bank, so were rewards for the best tourist, banking and industrial shares, as well

Croatian E-business forums ended in Zagreb Thursday. The forums
were organised by the Infoinvest company.
Nine conferences were held in the past three days, dealing with
issues such as the situation in Croatian entrepreneurship,
amendments to the foreign exchange law, stimulation of foreign
investments, pension reforms, direct banking, the e-community,
client relations management and new business models.
Some 40 presentations, seminars and other events were also held, at
which most of the 80 exhibitors presented themselves, including
banks, insurance and broker companies, media companies,
information companies, etc.
The traditional award for a joint stock company with the best
position on the Croatian capital market, the Golden Share, was
awarded to Zagrebacka Bank, so were rewards for the best tourist,
banking and industrial shares, as well as a reward for the best
share of privatisation and investment funds.
The forums were observed by a number of foreign delegations,
including a group of British investors headed by London City Mayor
and Deputy Mayor, a dozen Cuban business people and government
representatives, a delegation of the Yugoslav Association of Banks
and Financial Institutions, and business people from Germany, USA,
Austria, Italy, Slovenia and Bosnia-Herzegovina.
Croatian Assistant Economy Minister Renata Seperic said at the
forum today that Croatia must determine its development route, that
is, decide whether it wished to be a tourist, industrial country or
something third.
She added Croatia must use the advantages it is enjoying in the
period when the situation has not yet settled in other countries of
the former Yugoslavia, and find a way to attract foreign
investors.
