ZAGREB, May 17 (Hina) - Industrial production in Croatia in April this year increased 9.8 percent as against the same month last year and 3.2 percent as against last year's average monthly production, the State Institute for
Statistics reported. Industrial production in the first four months of this year rose by 6.6 percent compared to the same period last year. According to main industrial branches, the production of capital products increased the most - 43.1 percent as against last year's April. Power production increased by 7.9 percent whereas the production of intermediate products, not including power, increased by 5.4 percent. The production of non-durable consumer goods rose by 10.2 percent whereas the production of durable consumer goods dropped by 6.4 percent.(hina) sb rml
