ZAGREB HOSTING RACVIAC SEMINAR MAY 13-18 ZAGREB, May 14 (Hina) - Sixteen representatives from Albania, Bosnia, Croatia, Macedonia, Yugoslavia, and Slovenia have gathered in Zagreb for a seminar of the Regional Arms Control
Verification and Implementation Assistance Centre between May 13 and 18, RACVIAC said on Monday. RACVIAC is an international organisation established as a joint project of the governments of Croatia and Germany, with support from 16 other countries. Its goal is the promotion of trust and security in Southeast Europe by increasing the degree of transparency and openness in military security, cooperation and dialogue. The participants in the seminar will address the planning and preparation of activities related to a document signed by 55 countries in Vienna in 1999 to promote measures aimed at strengthening trust and security among the signatories.
