SISAK, May 9 (Hina) - President of the Croatian Social Liberal Party (HSLS) Drazen Budisa said today that "in the issue of the recent incident at the Dracevac military barracks, Defence Ministry services carried out their tasks on
time and in line with legal obligations, and are in no way responsible for what occurred there". Budisa was referring to insults with which President Stipe Mesic was greeted in Split. "The Security and Intelligence Service (SIS) warned President Mesic and his associates about what might happen in Split, and he had the information on time. The Defence Ministry and Minister Jozo Rados acted very wisely and rationally," Budisa said. The initiative by president of the Croatian People's Party Vesna Pusic that a parliament discussion on the responsibility of the Defence Ministry, especially the SIS, for the Dracevac incident should be held, was described by Budisa as "her electoral
