SARAJEVO, May 8 (Hina) - Republika Srpska police arrested 20 people suspected of having directly participated in violent demonstrations in Banja Luka Monday. The Bosnian Serb entity Interior Ministry submitted the report to members of
the Bosnia-Herzegovina Presidency who held an extraordinary session today to discuss the situation in the country in the light of the incidents in Banja Luka and Trebinje. The Bosniak member of the Presidency, Beriz Belkic, told reporters the state body assessed the events represent "the most serious undermining of peace and stability in Bosnia-Herzegovina". Local Banja Luka and entity authorities were asked to carry out a comprehensive investigation and punish all perpetrators and organisers of the incidents. Members of the Bosnian Council of Ministers also discussed the issue today.(hina) lml
