BELGRADE, May 7 (Hina) - Bosnian Serb Prime Minister Mladen Ivanic
has said that "not one person publicly accused by the International
Criminal Tribunal (for the former Yugoslavia)" is on the territory
of the Republic of Srpska (RS).
Ivanic "assumes" the Hague-based Tribunal will insist on the
apprehension of former Bosnian Serb leaders Radovan Karadzic and
Ratko Mladic, but that according to his knowledge no publicly
accused person is in RS, he was quoted by Belgrade-based Blic on
Monday.
Ivanic said RS would make its position on the matter known shortly,
after adopting a law on cooperation with the ICTY. He considers the
tribunal "one-sided... as the entire RS war leadership has been
accused of war crimes, unlike the key figures from the Bosniak and
Croat peoples."
Commenting on the upcoming building of a mosque in the RS capital of
Banja Luka and the announced building of another six throughout the
Bosnian Serb entity, Ivanic said "no special attention should be
given" to the matter as it represented "normal religious
activities."
