ZAGREB ZAGREB, May 4 (Hina) - Four unknown youths, believed to be skinheads, assaulted a 17-year-old Romany girl in downtown Zagreb on Friday morning stabbing her with a knife, the police said, adding the girl suffered light injuries.
Based on the girl's description of the attack, police believe it was another in a series Zagreb's skinheads have made on the Romany. Police are looking for the culprits. In the last five years, police have recorded a dozen attacks by the capital's skinheads on the Romany and other foreign citizens. The last one occurred at the railway station in downtown Zagreb on April 21, when a group of skinheads assaulted a 17-year-old Romany boy, causing him light injuries.(hina) ha
