ZAGREB STOCK EXCHANGE TURNOVER IN APRIL 84.2 MILLION KUNA

ZAGREB, May 4 (Hina) - The Zagreb Stock Exchange in April realised a turnover of 84,218,988 kuna, which is 45.59 percent less than in March. The value of the Crobex index rose by 4.97 percent to 981 points. The average daily turnover in April amounted to 4.2 million kuna, which is slightly more than a 40 percent decrease compared to March. The bonds of the State Agency for the Insurance of Savings Deposits and the Consolidation of Banks (DAB), which fall due in 2005 (DAB-O- 05CA) accounted for more than 25.9 million of the April turnover.
