ZAGREB, April 18 (Hina) - The Croatian company "Koncar-Inzenjering za energetiku i transport" and the Macedonian company "Elektrostopanstvo" signed in Skopje on Wednesday a DM 7.2-million-worth contract on the delivery and
installation of equipment for six water power plants in Macedonia, the Koncar company said in a statement. The contract, won in an international bidding procedure, should be carried out by the end of 2004 and it will be financed with a loan granted by the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD). Under the contract, Koncar will overhaul several generators and increase their power, and deliver 12 alert systems with digital voltage regulators.(hina) rml
