ZAGREB, April 18 (Hina) - Seven Croatian counties and the City of Zagreb this March saw a total of 280,476 overnight stays, which is a 17 percent rise in relation to last March. Of this number, 168,147 arrivals were from foreign
countries (a 23% increase) and 112,329 were domestic (a 10% increase). The Croatian Tourism Board (HTZ) has reported that resort towns along the Adriatic coast saw 236,022 overnight stays in March, which is a 25 percent rise. Istra County had the highest number of overnight stays last month - 89,936, which is 66 percent more than last March. It is followed by Primorje-Gorski Kotar County with 75,242 stays (a 10% rise), Split County with 31,065 overnight stays (a 16% rise), and Dubrovnik County with 26,619 arrivals (the same as last March).
