HR-BULLETINS-Politika BRIEF NEWS BULLETIN IN ENGLISH NO. 3966 BRIEF NEWS BULLETIN IN ENGLISH NO. 3966HINA Zagreb 17 April 2001ICTY, CROATIAN REPRESENTATIVES START INVESTIGATION AT KNIN CEMETERYKNIN, April 17 (Hina) - In accordance with an order of the Hague Tribunal (ICTY) and the consent of the Croatian government, representatives of the Croatian judiciary and the ICTY Prosecutor's Office on Tuesday started a joint investigation at the central cemetery in Knin, a town in southern Croatia. They should establish the cause of death of some persons who were buried at the cemetery after Storm, a 1995 operation the Croatian army and police embarked upon to liberate territories then occupied by Serbs. The probe commenced with the fencing of three sites, which jointly cover several hundred square metres. The area was also combed by mine removal experts and maps were drawn up prior to exhumations. Up-to-date equipment was transferred to Knin for this purpose. The Croatian government met a requ
