PULA, April 6 (Hina) - Istria County prefect Stevo Zufic received Austrian Ambassador to Croatia Hans G. Knitel in the northern Adriatic town of Pula on Friday. Austria supports Croatia's joining all European integration and one of
the steps on this path is the signing of a Stabilisation and Association Agreement in less than a month, Knitel said. During the talks, Zufic pointed to good economic cooperation between Austria and Istria County. The Austrian Ambassador pointed to good relations between Austrian and Istrian towns, particularly Pula and Graz, and expressed hope the relations would deepen after the decentralisation of the authority. He said he would personally advocate the decentralisation.
