MOSTAR, April 5 (Hina) - Members of Bosnian Croat war veterans associations on Thursday entered a number of barracks in Bosnia-Herzegovina protesting against their status in the country, local media reported. Members of Homeland War
associations from Central Bosnia Canton entered a Croat barracks in Vitez, Croat radio Herzeg-Bosnia reported. The radio also said the protesters intended to stay in the barracks until "the Croat issue in Bosnia-Herzegovina is solved." Croatian Television reported this evening that a group of 150 civilians today took control of a barracks in Orasje in northern Bosnia ordering the soldiers to withdraw. According to Radio Herzeg-Bosnia, Stabilisation Force troops this morning entered a barracks in Kiseljak, central Bosnia, making good on their warning that they would transfer the protesters to their base near Sarajevo if they did not leave the barracks by Friday.(hina) rml
