political parties' leaders in Skopje.

This party on Tuesday announced that it might walk out of the
parliament in protest, in case Macedonian security forces launch an
frontal assault on armed extremists following the expiry of the
ultimatum which Skopje issued asking guerrillas to either
surrender to Macedonian authorities or leave the country by 11 p.m.
Wednesday.
According to media reports, it was calm in Tetovo on Wednesday
evening.
However, fire was opened from the Kosovo side at the sentry post of
Kodra Fura at the Macedonia-Kosovo border last night. Four
Macedonian soldiers were injured and one of them sustained serious
injuries.
