ZAGREB, March 15 (Hina) - The beginning of the European year of languages in Croatia will be marked in the northern Adriatic town of Rovinj on March 22 and 23 with a conference on languages as the factor of the cultural identity and
lingual diversity, the Council of European said in a statement. The conference, organised by the Congress of Local and Regional Administrations of Europe (CLRAE), the European Union Committee of Regions and the Croatian European Integration Ministry, will be attended by about 150 representatives of local and regional authorities, non-governmental organisations, teachers and language experts.
