ZAGREB, March 14 (Hina) - An auxiliary bishop of Zagreb Archdiocese, Msgr. Vlado Kosic, promised to ask the Catholic charity 'Caritas" for humanitarian aid to be given to the poorest members of the Romany Union in Croatia, said the
union's head, Nusret Seferovic, after his talks with the dignitary on Wednesday. This community of Romanies, which has some 4,500 members, asked for the aid in food, clothes and financial means as well as assistance in teaching pre-school children of the Romany descent. Seferovic said he and Bishop Kosic also considered the problem of begging for alms in the Zagreb streets, which created a bad impression from the Croatian capital.(hina) sb ms
