CRO FOREIGN MINISTER HOLDS TALKS WITH U.S. AMBASSADORS TO CRO, BH

ZAGREB, March 6 (Hina) - Croatian Foreign Minister Tonino Picula on Tuesday held talks with the United States Ambassadors to Croatia and Bosnia-Herzegovina, Lawrence Rossin and Thomas Miller on the situation in Bosnia-Herzegovina after a recent session of the Croat National Assembly in Mostar and possible consequences of the conclusions about the internal situation in Croatia. According to a statement issued by the Croatian Foreign Ministry, Picula presented Croatia's standpoints on the issue to the United States Ambassadors. The Croatian Foreign Minister said Croatia condemned the decision of the Croat National Assembly, stressing that every possibility for the reconstruction of dialogue must be discussed in order to avoid tensions in Bosnia-Herzegovina. The United States Ambassadors Rossin and Miller reiterated the standpoints of the international community regarding possible sanctions against the Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ) of Bosnia- Herzegovina leadership, and added that new Croat representatives in institutions of authorities in Bosnia-Herzegovina and the Federation of Bosnia-Herzegovina were very competent persons who could successfully represent the Bosnian Croat corps.
