ZAGREB, March 6 (Hina) - The main water wave will pass Karlovac (some 50 kilometres south of Zagreb) on Tuesday afternoon, which is why flood-prevention measures remain in force, the State Alert Centre reported this morning. Although
the water level has been stagnating, the situation in the flood-affected areas has not changed significantly in relation to yesterday. Flood-prevention measures in the Karlovac area along the Korana river were called off yesterday. The Vrbovsko-Ogulin road was reopened for traffic this afternoon. The situation is normalising in Lika-Senj County as well, with water levels stagnating. The flood-prevention measures, introduced yesterday in the areas of Samobor and Bregana, have been called off as well.
