ZAGREB, March 2 (Hina) - Spain's parliamentary officials have offered full assistance to Croatia in conveying their experience in adjusting legislation to EU standards and pointed to the importance of economic progress and
accompanying legislation for accessing the EU, the Croatian Foreign Ministry said on Friday. Foreign Minister Tonino Picula, on the second day of an official visit to Spain, held talks with the chairwoman of the Spanish parliament's upper house, Esperanza Aguirre, the chairman of the lower house's foreign affairs committee, Isabela Tocino, and the chairman of parliament's mixed committee for the EU, Jose Borrel. It was agreed Spain's parliamentarians should visit Croatia to attend a seminar on unionism, women's issues, and labour legislation.
