ZAGREB, March 2 (Hina) - Croatian Maritime Affairs, Transport and Communications Minister Alojz Tusek on Friday participated in a Budapest meeting of transport ministers of the quadrilateral -- Croatia, Slovenia, Italy and Hungary --
the subject of which was European integration, transport policy and regional cooperation. According to a statement issued by the Croatian Ministry, the representatives signed a memorandum on understanding and cooperation in the 5th corridor (Venice-Trieste/Kopar-LJubljana-Budapest-Uzgorod-Lvov-Kyev-Moscow). Its A section runs through Bratislava-Zilina-Kosice-Uzgorod, the B section Rijeka-Zagreb-Budapest and the C section Ploce-Sarajevo- Osijek-Budapest. The signatories to the memorandum have committed themselves to expand cooperation contributing to the development and harmonisation of their transport policies in line with European integration, as well as wider international aims, the statement
