ZAGREB, March 2 (Hina) - Croatia is expecting to sign a free trade agreement with Bulgaria, Rumania and Albania by the end of the year, Croatian Assistant Economy Minister Olgica Spevec said Friday after a meeting of the permanent
council of the Working Group for the liberalisation and facilitation of trade, on the second day of a Stability Pact working table. The meeting focused on drafting a memorandum on understanding which should represent starting points for liberalising and facilitating trade among countries in the region, which should result in a network of bilateral agreements on free trade among Pact member countries. Croatia has already signed free trade agreements with Bosnia-Herzegovina and Macedonia, and negotiations with Yugoslavia have not even begun yet, nor are they priorities for this year.(hina) lml sb
