LJUBLJANA, Feb 21 (Hina) - Zagreb will fully support a Slovene initiative to convene mayors from countries in central and south-east Europe in Ljubljana next year, Croatia's deputy parliamentary speaker Zdravko Tomac said in the
Slovene capital on Wednesday. Tomac, who is also chairman of the Zagreb Assembly Committee on Inter-City and International Cooperation, spoke to reporters after a closed-door meeting a Zagreb delegation headed by Mayor Milan Bandic held with Slovene President Milan Kucan. Tomac applauded the improved cooperation between Croatian and Slovene towns, saying it created an atmosphere which should lead to compromise solutions between the two countries.
