ZAGREB, Feb 12 (Hina) - The law-based state, the system, must be preserved and tensions defused, Croatian ombudsman Ante Klaric said Monday after a meeting with Croatian national Parliament speaker Zlatko Tomcic. Following the
closed-door meeting, Klaric told reporters he spoke with Tomcic about the organisation of the upcoming conference of ombudsmen for Southeast Europe, and about the situation in Croatia. Asked about the details of the meeting, Klaric said "the law-based state, the system must be preserved, tensions defused".
