Croatia will stage a 60-minute performance consisting of a piece
from "Peer Gynt", "Pas de Deux" from the second act of "Swan Lake",
"Licitarsko srce" (Gingerbread Heart), the first Croatian national
ballet, and a contemporary choreography of Stasa Zurovac's "The
Fiancee's Dream".
The aim is to present the four main styles in the 125-year-long
tradition of Croatian ballet, Croatia's founder Svebor Secak told
reporters on Saturday.
Croatia was established seven years ago to promote ballet in
Croatia and around the world, thus far having performed in more than
150 cities in Croatia, Italy, Slovenia, Hungary, and Bosnia and
Herzegovina.
