MOSTAR, Jan 31 (Hina) - Spokesman for SFOR's national division for Sector Southeast, Joerg Lehman, told reporters in Mostar Wednesday former Bosnian Serb leader Radovan Karadzic was in the territory under the jurisdiction of his
division. The division controls the area of Bosnia-Herzegovina southeast of Sarajevo to the border with Montenegro. Commenting on Montenegrin media speculating Karadzic could come to Montenegro to visit his ill mother, Lehman said SFOR undertook many activities to overlook Karadzic's possible movements in Montenegro. Lehman also informed reporters there were indications that weapons were being smuggled in the zone of his division's responsibility. Several SFOR troops have been deployed to control and gather information about the direction in which weapons are possibly being smuggled. This is being done jointly with the International Police Task Force, he said.(hina) lml
