TUZLA, Jan 30 (Hina) - Bosnia-Herzegovina's Foreign Minister Jadranko Prlic on Tuesday applauded the fact Croatian President Stipe Mesic accepted the initiative on the holding of a summit of Bosnia-Herzegovina, Croatia and Yugoslavia.
"The trilateral summit is out idea and we will suggest that it be held in Sarajevo this June," Prlic told Hina. "Bosnia-Herzegovina will suggest and very soon prepare a discussion on the return of refugees, the issue of migration of foreigners, drafting a concept of the region of southern Bosnia, the Boka Kotorska Bay, Prevlaka and other current issues," Prlic said. Bosnia will also suggest to Yugoslavia the establishment of free trade between the two countries. "The summit will gain its true sense if it can achieve progress in relations among the three countries," Prlic said. He held that relations between Croatia and Bosnia-Herzegovina cannot be restricted to Croatia's care for Croats
TUZLA, Jan 30 (Hina) - Bosnia-Herzegovina's Foreign Minister
Jadranko Prlic on Tuesday applauded the fact Croatian President
Stipe Mesic accepted the initiative on the holding of a summit of
Bosnia-Herzegovina, Croatia and Yugoslavia.
"The trilateral summit is out idea and we will suggest that it be
held in Sarajevo this June," Prlic told Hina.
"Bosnia-Herzegovina will suggest and very soon prepare a
discussion on the return of refugees, the issue of migration of
foreigners, drafting a concept of the region of southern Bosnia,
the Boka Kotorska Bay, Prevlaka and other current issues," Prlic
said.
Bosnia will also suggest to Yugoslavia the establishment of free
trade between the two countries.
"The summit will gain its true sense if it can achieve progress in
relations among the three countries," Prlic said.
He held that relations between Croatia and Bosnia-Herzegovina
cannot be restricted to Croatia's care for Croats in Bosnia-
Herzegovina.
"The cooperation between Croatia and Bosnia-Herzegovina must rely
on the building of a civil society, not on the care of Croatia for
Croats in Bosnia-Herzegovina because they are not in an inferior
position," Prlic said, suggesting more cooperation in the field of
culture.
Bosnia's Foreign Minister stressed he did not support the creation
of a third entity in Bosnia-Herzegovina should this include
territorial frontiers.
