his deputy Bernhard Goerg, were welcomed by the president of the Croat Burgenland Cultural Society Stefan Pauer. Pauer stressed the importance of nurturing Croatian customs and culture, which he said Burgenland Croats had been doing in Austria for centuries. The ball was opened with a programme of Croatian folklore dances and songs. Attending the event were Croatia's new ambassador to Austria, Drazen Vukov Colic, and the Ambassador at the OSCE, Mario Nobilo.(hina) rml
