ZAGREB, Jan 19 (Hina) - Numerous cultural institutions, publishing houses, theatres, museums, schools and faculties have singed a petition against cancellation of the Third Channel of the Croatian Radio. The signing of this appeal,
forwarded to the national parliament, was organised by an Initiative for Public Radio. The names of cultural institutions and individuals who support this appeal and the text of the appeal is published in the latest issue of a fortnightly for culture "Zarez". "MPs, we call on you not to vote in favour of the cancellation of the third radio channel. If you vote for such draft act, you will voice for the annihilation of the media space for culture and arts," read the appeal.
