The mixed commission was set up based on the Prevlaka Protocol and
joint minutes signed by Croatian Foreign Minister Tonino Picula and
his Yugoslav counterpart Goran Svilanovic.
At the Zagreb meeting, the commission harmonised the rules of
procedure and agreed on the steps required to implement the
Protocol, the foreign ministry said in a statement.
The commission also agreed the next meeting would be held in
January, when the demining of the Prevlaka area seawaters should be
completed, thus providing conditions for the setting up of a mixed
police crew, the statement added.
