ZAGREB, Dec 30 (Hina) - The leading Croatian sweets producer "Kras"
is planing to increase the sale on the Croatian market and the
export in 2003. #L#
The export is projected to increase by 9.5 percent and the sale on
the domestic market by 3.5 percent, the company reported.
Next year, Kras is planning to produce and sell 27,500 tonnes of its
products or by 1,760 tonnes (6.8 percent) more than in this year.
In the first 11 months of 2002, the sale of Kras products on the
domestic market rose by 5.3 percent to 16,110 tonnes in comparison
to the January-November period in 2001.
In the first 11 months of 2002, Kras exported 7,275 tones, which
accounted for 31 percent of the entire sale.
In 2001, the leading Croatia confectioner registered a net profit
of 39.3 million kuna, or by 16.1 million kuna more than in 2000.
