Sources from Gracanica, one of Kosovo's biggest Serb enclaves near
Pristina, said the initiative for the Movement for Kosovo coalition
had come from Momcilo Trajkovic, the president of the Serb
Resistance Movement.
Trajkovic said the coalition had been joined by all "wishing that
problems in Kosovo be solved properly".
He called on other political subjects in Kosovo and central Serbia
to join the Movement by the end of January, when he said the
coalition would be formally constituted at a conference in
Belgrade.
Trajkovic told Serbs they had to unite in order to resolve the many
problems together with Serbia, the international community, and
Albanians.
He said the new coalition's main political objectives were finding
solutions in connection with the return of Serbs to Kosovo and with
the future of Serbs in Kosovo.
