SARAJEVO, Dec 24 (Hina) - Two Slovak members of the international Stabilisation Force (SFOR) in Bosnia-Herzegovina were seriously injured in a helicopter crash near which occurred near the central town of Travnik on Tuesday, while
another crew member sustained light injuries.

The crash of the Russian MI-17 helicopter was confirmed by the SFOR
spokesman in Sarajevo, Yves Vanier, who said that an investigation
was underway.
According to witnesses, the helicopter with three crew members
crashed into a pylon near a local textile company due to poor
visibility.
Hospital sources said one crew member sustained serious injuries to
his head and chest while the other sustained injuries to his spine
and was paralysed from the waist down.
During the evening the two men were transferred to a hospital in
Sarajevo where they underwent surgery.
