Road to Europe", to be held at the Schoenbrunn castle in Vienna on Thursday. The event is organised by the business magazine Wirtschafts Blatt.
VIENNA, Dec 4 (Hina) - Croatian President Stjepan Mesic, five
government ministers and the leaders of Croatia's leading
financial and economic institutions will attend a bilateral
congress called "Croatia on the Road to Europe", to be held at the
Schoenbrunn castle in Vienna on Thursday. The event is organised by
the business magazine Wirtschafts Blatt. #L#
The congress, which is envisaged as an opportunity for Croatian
politicians and economists to acquaint their Austrian colleagues
with Croatia's potential, will be divided in four parts.
The first part of the congress will focus on Croatia's future with
emphasis on the economic situation, the second one on business and
direct investments in Croatia, and the third on Croatia's prospects
in united Europe. The congress will end late in the afternoon with a
lecture by President Mesic which bears the same title - "Croatia on
the Road to Europe".
Early tomorrow morning President Mesic will meet his Austrian
counterpart Thomas Klestil, but statements for the media are not
expected.
