The minority parliamentary bench warned at a press conference in
parliament on Friday that there should be at least five minority
MPs, as that is the level of minority rights achieved in Croatia
over the past ten years.
They warned that the proposed bill breached bilateral agreements on
reciprocity of minority rights Croatia signed with some countries,
as well as a request by the Organisation for Security and
Cooperation in Europe that Croatia adopt a law that would be in the
interest of minorities.
