The centre is a joint project of the Science and Technology Ministry
and the University Computer Centre (SRCE). Its establishment is the
result of last year's agreement between the SRCE and Microsoft.
Microsoft Croatia executive director Davor Majetic said the centre
would help students and academic staff to obtain knowledge and
skills and facilitate access to internationally recognised
industrial certificates.
The centre is temporarily situated at the Faculty of Computing and
Electrical Engineering and will move to the SRCE building after the
building is reconstructed.
