"The entire file in the Bobetko Case was delivered on Thursday after
working hours," the head if the ministry's department for
international legal assistance, Zdravko Stojanovic, told Hina.
The information was also confirmed by the Zagreb County Court
President, Bozidar Rumenjak. Rumenjak said he would issue a public
statement later today.
"The file is comprehensive and along with the indictment and arrest
warrant, it also includes 14 additional documents, an extensive
medical report on Bobetko's condition, the photocopy of the two
appeals the Croatian government has forwarded to the Hague-based
tribunal, and the government's written decision to forward the file
to the competent county court," Stojanovic said.
The Hague-based ICTY has accused Bobetko, a former Croatian
military chief-of-staff, on command responsibility of crimes
committed in the 1993 Medak Pocket operation.
The 83-year old general was taken to Zagreb's Dubrava Clinic on
Thursday morning, after his condition deteriorated in the past few
days.
