"Interrogated are members of Croatian army and special police who
might have been there at the time, seen and noticed something
relevant for the gathering of information and the establishment of
the facts," Grguricin said at a news conference.
In the last nine months, the Lika-Senj county police pressed three
charges against 27 persons - members of Serb paramilitary troops
who committed war crimes against the civilian population and POWs
on parts of the Croatian territory they used to hold. Of 27
suspects, five have been available and taken by police to an
investigating judge in the town of Gospic, the same source said.
