OSIJEK, Oct 30 (Hina) - The president of the dissolved Croatian Social Liberal Party (HSLS) council in Osijek-Baranja County, Vilim Herman, said in Osijek on Wednesday that dissolving the council and announcing the ousting of nine council members was an act "of political revenge and the inability to recognise possibilities for dialogue and the party's modernisation". #L# Herman said at a news conference that the nine council members had started to form an association representing the interests of Slavonia and Baranja, called "Hrast", but they did not rule out the possibility of forming a new party or joining the existing ones. "We are sorry that party president Drazen Budisa arrived in Osijek with a final decision, without having explored possibilities for compromise," Herman said.
