NATO's Naples-based Regional Command South arrived in the southern
port of Split for a friendly four-day visit to the Croatian Navy and

The ships visiting Split are the Dutch Royal Navy frigate "Witte de
With", equipped with Harpoon rockets, torpedoes and artillery, the
German Navy destroyer "Moelders", equipped with anti-vessel
rockets, the Greek Navy frigate "Aegean", which carries an anti-
submarine helicopter, and the Italian Navy patrol ship
"Granatier", which carries an anti-submarine helicopter, anti-
vessel rockets, and anti-aircraft rocket launcher.
The group's commander, Philip Wirth, and the ship commanders were
received by Split mayor Slobodan Beros, county prefect Branimir
Luksic and the Croatian Navy officials.
Croatian Navy members and the guests, who leave Split on October 26,
will play a friendly soccer match on Thursday.
