Racan told reporters his talks with Bobetko were private and the two
"discussed the situation and nothing more can be said until it is
solved. I am a responsible person."
Sources close to General Bobetko have informed that Racan and the
general had held talks face to face, without the presence of any
member of Bobetko's family or his attorneys.
Since the international war crimes tribunal issued an indictment
against General Bobetko, Racan has spoken to Bobetko exclusively
over the telephone. Today was the first time he actually visited
him.
