The HDZ, HNZ & HDK candidate for a seat in Presidency of Bosnia-
Herzegovina, Dragan Covic, on Tuesday evening at a pre-election
campaign in Tomislavgrad accused Croatian officials in the
Alliance that they were elected against the will of the people. He
said that the Alliance worked for "pro-Serb and pro-Bosnian
interests".
The candidate of the New Croatian Initiative (within the ruling
Alliance), Mijo Anic, at an election campaign in Uskoplje (central
Bosnia) on Tuesday night accused the HDZ policy for the calamities
experienced by Croats in Bosnia.
"The greatest crime against Bosnian Croats was committed by the
creators of secessionist policies within our own people," Anic
said.
He pointed out that the Croat people in Bosnia and Herzegovina were
living in difficult conditions and that the image of a well-off
nation was being created by a group of military and political
oligarchs who literally looted their own people and now are
struggling to preserve their positions and wealth.
